Lead Pastor
Wayne was born in the Bronx and has been a New Yorker for most of his life.
He is a graduate of White Plains High School and received an Associates
Degree from Westchester Community College. Soon after becoming a Christian,
Wayne attended Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis, IN and earned a
Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. With a passion to focus his ministry in New
York, he returned in 1999 and married his sweetheart Claudene, also a native
New Yorker. During this time, Wayne served as assistant Youth Pastor at his
home church and Youth President of the NY Metro District, United Pentecostal
Church International while working as the assistant to the President of the
Tea Association of the U.S.A.

He returned to Indianapolis in 2003 and assumed the role of Dean of Students
at his alma mater and completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelors
degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. After
serving for two and a half years at the college, Wayne accepted the position
to become the Director of Promotion for the General Youth Division of the
United Pentecostal Church International.

His wife, affectionately known as “Classy” loves women’s and children’s
fashion and has an extensive background in retail management overseeing
multi-million dollar departments for Lord & Taylor and a womenswear
department at Saks Fifth Avenue’s flagship store in Manhattan. Claudene
briefly studied at New York City’s prestigious Fashion Institute of
Technology and enjoys designing children’s clothing, coordinating events,
interior decoration and managing finances.

Wayne’s favorite drink is Strawberry Lemonade, he loves mac and cheese from
French Roast Restaurant in Manhattan, desserts from Café Lalo on 83rd and
Amsterdam as well as a good slice from Magnotta’s in White Plains or Nicks
Pizza on Gun Hill Road in the Bronx. He enjoys shopping, texting and
talking on his cell phone and ad libbing to any song he hears [be
forewarned].

His love for creativity and innovation, reading, impacting the lives of
others and developing leaders are core passions that drive everything he
does. His chief desires are to be a great child of God, father and husband.
Pastoral ministry is a great gift that has been extended to him.

Wayne and Claudene have two daughters, Haleigh [5] and Ryleigh [3] and
currently reside in St. Louis, MO.

Worship Pastor
Nate is one of those guys you love to hate; a talented speaker, leader, musician and worship leader. A former Minnesotan, Nathan went to Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theology with a minor in Music. During his tenure at IBC, Nate was the Student Body Vice President and a member of the Chorale. He served his home church in Minnesota as student pastor but also served the music department of his church by worshiping leading, playing the piano and the acoustic guitar in many services.

It's this unique balance of giftings that makes us so excited to have Nate on our staff. We are looking forward to Nate leading our church in worship and adding value to our team with his creativity and his sincere passion to worship and lead worshippers into the presence of God.
